Day 104: The Solopreneur CEO Summit Prep is Underway!

If you know me well, you know that I love Mondays. And despite being in the weird time warp of the end of the year, I got a wild hair up my butt to get some work done today. The blessing of Monday!

After sharing a story on Instagram to get more launch team members for the podcast, I made a post on Threads for presenters for the virtual summit Carin and I are hosting for the Solopreneur CEO. Within hours there were dozens of requests. I didn’t think it would get any attention because my posts are usually just me blurting into the void. With the response, I decided to create the application form.

Carin has this nifty software that houses all our websites, funnels, CRM, membership, etc. At first it was very overwhelming but after tinkering around a bit I realized I could do a lot of the stuff Carin’s been doing. For the Q1 workshop I just duplicated everything from the Q4 she’d made and updated it.

Back in September I attempted to create a form for our members to fill out so we could have a membership directory. I kept getting an error message when I attempted to save the document. It was beyond infuriating. I somewhat remembered when I went to create the Summit presenter app but was excited about the outreach so didn’t worry too much. About an hour into the process I attempt to save the final draft and the error messages that taunted me in September appeared again. Regardless of how many text codes I deleted another one popped up. It was like whack a mole.

I made a copy of the form I’d completed about 70% of before the save issue started to happen. Then I was able to complete it. I think what happened was on a couple questions I deleted some of the answers. The form did not like that.

I also had to create a new submission confirmation page. I did it and put it in one of the funnels we aren’t using. The Retreat funnel. Because that’s the only Solopreneur CEO funnel we have so far. So I need to remember to tell Carin that we need to move that to wherever it should go. I didn’t break anything and confirmed that the form submission worked. Just a little bit of rearranging will need to be done.

Doing some work after taking so much time off felt really good.

I also connected with a Podcaster and membership cofounder who wants to do a swap. She’s doing what Carin and I are doing but for younger business owners. Or, I guess I should say younger businesses. Her membership is to help side hustlers and part-time entrepreneurs go full time. Feels like a great collaboration opportunity!
