Day 146: The Red Thread

In a client meeting this morning she told me she wasn’t comfortable on camera. I said, “could have fooled me, you’re a natural.”. She said she doesn’t know what to record about. I told her to “follow the red thread”. She was like, “ooo, tell me more.”.

I think that was the name of a show Ryan and I used to watch. It told the story about how we are all interconnected. Similar to the butterfly effect. Whenever you see similarities, it’s the universe telling you to pay attention.

She had mentioned that at a speaking engagement she told the audience to ask her anything. She also said that one day last week she had both a mother and daughter duo that came in for treatment. Red threads.

There are signals that we can go off of to make our work easier. Anytime you see, hear, or feel a commonality: consider diving into it more. What is it trying to tell you?

Help someone, share your experience, make some decisions about a recurring problem in your job or life.

I do think there are coincidences but I don’t think there are multiple coincidences that we pick up on that should be ignored.
