Day 190: Business Update

The summit was great. We had people in both of the live sessions. Not much engagement in the community. Overall it was a good experience.

I’ve been making some big girl business decisions. To help with SEO for the Activating Audacity group program, and brand, I think I’m going to move this blog to SubStack. I’ll continue to write daily but if my main business focus is going to be Activating Audacity, and the Solopreneur CEO business, having these rando blog posts can dilute the messaging. It will be a change of pace jumping ship from here but I dont want to have to build a whole new site for Activating Audacity. I own the URL and it points to this page. But paying for this, the NBA site and another one is a bit much.

Spring break starts tomorrow. Now that all the live parts of the summit are done I’m looking forward to focusing on my brand. And maybe my novel.

My assignment from the facilitator of the retreat was to order a book about how to write thrillers. Read that. Then read 4-5 thrillers, then revisit mine. I ordered “How to Write a Damn Good Thriller” which was delivered two days ago. I found a Carl Hiassen book in my husbands truck and started on that on Sunday. Haven’t touched it since. Already breaking the rules!
