Something happens to successful women that doesn’t get talked about enough. They become the default doer and decision maker for handfuls of people in their lives. For the past decade I’ve been reminding women to add themselves to their to-do lists. I’ve been gifted with the ability to see the burden that these women hold and know how to help them find ways to reconnect to themselves. This happens through prioritizing themselves. Finding joy and fulfillment again. Creating boundaries that are necessary to protect them from the takers. Remembering that they have options <— this is a huge one. When we live in a constant state of reactivity, we become consumed with the doing and then the exhaustion from the doing. I remind you to take a step back and strategize a way to stop being the default, so you can remember your options. A few of the astro peeps I follow shared that todays moon is super major. Apparently what happened in February 2017 is what you should do more of starting now. I’ve spent the last hour scrolling through my camera from that month. It was a lot! And I was in my 30’s 😆 Maybe I’ll just stick to finding speaking opps? By the way: the entire time I talked there were men behind me moving furniture, climbing a ladder to do god knows what and making a lot of noise. It was the most jarring experience ever but I still had the ladies laughing. Shout out to @triciagdriscoll for getting video from that day!

Have the audacity to take care of yourself. Maybe that’s through taking actions to get physically healthier. Or prioritizing your mental health. Whatever it is, it’s important to not settle if you are physically and mentally unwell. Sometimes it takes drastic change to recognize just how far away from good health, joy, freedom, strength and ease we‘be gotten. Take some time to see what can be eliminated (or added) to make things better.

Confidence comes from: Muscle memory from showing up regardless of how you feel. Failing… forward! There are no “failures” if lessons are learned. Not sitting down and shutting up. Worse case scenario, Tammy laughs at you or Maureen talks shit about you. They suck anyway so why should you care?!
