Day 28: EOY Strategy
Today Carin and I went to a coworking space in DC for professional photos.
Her and I started receiving ads mid summer about a pop-up photo shoot membership and we decided to try it out.
We met up in Fairfax and drove in together. After the shoot we had lunch. It was great to go over what we have planned for the remainder of the year and iron out some things including our Black Friday / Cyber Monday deal!
Originally we were planning to take December off of publishing podcast episodes but since we have our Q1 planning in December, I said it would make marketing more difficult.
So we are going to do themed 10 minute quick episodes that are basically a year in review. We will be giving specific details about different things we’ve done in business since launching season 3 in May.
In February when we talked about reviving the podcast (after 4 years!) I was adamant that we provide a ton of value. For me that meant case studies and basically step-by-step tutorials on things to do in business. ie, the boring but necessary shit.
After we got started, that’s definitely not the path we took! Which is fine. Had we gone the boring path, we wouldn’t have started the Success Secret Society.
As Carin stated in our Offer Optimization Workshop (you can listen to it HERE), the society is a community, not an educational / information based course. Which couldn’t be more perfect for this season we are living in.
With that said, a good way to reach our ideal clients is through the podcast and if we are strategic with our content and the value provided, it will be a great lead magnet.
We’ve taken so much action and done so much tweaking and testing. It will be fun to dive into the nitty gritty.
