Day 31: The Plan With This Challenge
Ok. I just recorded the audio for Day 1: Welcome. This was after realizing it’s very difficult to navigate the blog posts. I’ll be working on making the user experience better.
My plan is to write a post, record the audio, add to the post, and also have a podcast on Spotify with the daily recordings. That way, if people don’t like to read, they can listen. The blog readers will have first access and then the audio will be uploaded the next day.
Will this interfere with the RSS feed which I just learned about over the weekend? Not sure. I need to do more research on it.
When listening back to the audio I just recorded I realized that this is training for future me when I record my first book!
Continuing to trust the process and the nudges I’m getting. Taking action and not giving myself pressure to be perfect. There is no “perfect”.
Sharing the announcement of the daily entries in the Success Secret Society intention meeting the other day helped me to work through why maintaining consistency hasn’t felt like a challenge. I believe the reason for the ease in posting is because I announced in one of the first posts of this challenge that I’m doing this for me. I’m not concerned about the end user. Of course that has changed a bit and will evolve especially if I’m sharing the blog, but not having that initial pressure of having to perform: made the habit form in a natural and non chaotic way. Also sharing in the blogs description that posts are searchable by category and tags puts my mind at ease. There’s less pressure to stay on one topic or be super stringent or strategic about what’s coming out.
I love the idea of just writing what I want, or feel called, to.
Surely I’ll get better at fine tuning, but for now… it’s just getting the reps in.
