Day 51: Business Update

Momentous day! I wrote my first blog for my business, NOVA Business Agency. Celebrate with me!

All week I’ve been plotting and brainstorming an event that my podcast cohost and I are hosting.

It occurred to me today, “hmmm, I should share the process on my business page.”. Having a step-by-step process on how to host a virtual summit could be very helpful. Having had the third Connector Conference move to virtual, so much of the prep for that is bubbling up into my memory. And with the rebrand of the pod, I have total clarity on who should be involved. Which is EXCITING!

Events are SO fun and I love them. Well, I love organizing, facilitating, and speaking at them. Being an attendee though… oof. Doesn’t bode well for an introvert. Too many “What if’s”.

But when you’re the guy with the clipboard: you know everything that’s going to happen! Except the silly little surprises. But that’s fine, because you’re in the zone.

SO fun.

Ok, back to my first business blog.

Naturally there has been a lot of mental drama around what I would share first on my business page. I wanted it to be universal for all of my clients and future clients. So when I opened up that page to write, it surprised me that I started writing about holiday outreach. Now that I’m writing you, it’s clicking because: everyone in business has clients, but not everyone in business hosts events.

Also, I’m not calling it a blog over there, I’m calling it Resources. Pretty clever, huh?
