Day 61: The End of an Era

This morning Carin and I recorded our very last episode of Honest Convos with Carin and Marcia! The series is officially ending on Tuesday, November 25. Remarkably our first season was in 2017. 8 years ago!

Never fear, our rebranded podcast will launch on Tuesday, January 6. We are both SO pumped!

The podcast wont change much besides the new title and name for the email newsletter.

After a few months into this recent season we started to get clear on who our niche is. Launching the Success Secret Society then cleared up even more confusion.

And now, now we know!

The listener is between 46 - 55 years old. She is a coach, consultant, sole service provider or membership leader. She has been in business for 2-5 years. If she has kids they are older and require less hands on attention. Although she’s been in business for a few years, perimenopause / menopause symptoms are likely keeping her physically tired and emotionally on edge. Before when she could just power through her work on coffee, alcohol, or sheer grit, now all of those crutches effect her ability to work. She knows she needs to take care of her physical health by getting her steps in (she’s probably not an early adapter of the weighted vest), drinking less caffeine/alcohol, getting better sleep, and keeping her environment as free from chaos as necessary.

Oh this is so fun!

We created the society for those ladies so they can feel supported and connected with other solopreneurs in similar situations. And the new pod is going to be so findable with the updated name. It’s going to be exponentially easier to market as well because it’s very clear who our people are.

Immediately after recording our final series episode today I edited it. Besides posting on social a few more times, all our energies will be on gearing up for the rebrand. We will have a basic launch team and plan to hit the air waves hard in January. So exciting!
