Day 81: Quality Time

True love is going to see Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 with your 15 year old. He asked me yesterday after school if we could go. I was so tired from spinning out about blood test results and learning my thyroid isn’t great. I asked if we could go today and he said yes.

I didn’t buy tickets in advance because I thought, “There likely wont be a lot of people.”. We watched the first one together when it came out and there weren’t a lot of people.

We bought our tickets at the theater and only the front 2 rows had seats. We chose row B. The screen size has to be like 50 feet and it was 8 feet in front of us. Doh!

He really enjoyed the movie. It was very loud. But I kept thinking, “This guy invited me to go to watch something he loves.”. He saw a couple classmates. When we got in the car I asked if he was embarrassed that he went with me. His response was, “Anyone who would make fun of someone going to a movie with their mom is a chud.”. I probably should have googled that word to make sure it’s not super offensive. But, I thought it was very sweet that he was happy to go with me.

Short entry because we have one of my husband’s clients parties tonight, Should probably figure out what I'm wearing.
