Day 90: Didn’t Take The Easy Way Out
We had the husbands work party tonight. It was good. Our older kid works there as well so he invited his girlfriend.
There weren’t any activities.
In the past there was a tarot card reader, table games, a caricature artist, etc.
The bar was open and drinks were drank. Not by the minors of course. Ryan actually had 2 drinks which is one more than usual. I had a few.
But not so many that I would forget to write today.
Remember Day 52? Of course you don’t, it didn’t happen!
It was the tennis banquet and I was so worked up about it that I forgot to write. After 51 days straight of writing. That’s so wild.
Today I actually had a cheat code because my work newsletter goes out on the 15th of each month. On November 15 (I’m not sure what entry day that was) I copied and pasted the October 15 newsletter.
Doing that today was my initial plan, but I read what I wrote about in the last newsletter and have already blogged about it and also didn’t want to publicly share what was in the newsletter.
That’s the gift to my newsletter readers. I share shit with them that I don’t share anywhere else.
Today after posting on my IG story I got a new newsletter subscriber. That prevented me from sharing about the blog. The person who signed up is my niche type of audience member and since this blog is so loosey goosey I didn’t want lines to get blurred.
Anyone who reads this is meant to. I’m not going to be thirsty and keep reminding people about it. That’s the beauty about a passion project as opposed to a business. You don’t have to market a passion project because the ROI is in the fulfillment it brings you.
