Day 35*: The Start
As I thought might happen, after seeing that Amazon Web Services was down for several hours yesterday, correcting my editing issue for the podcast episode took under 5 minutes.
Can you believe all that crap I gave myself and it wasn’t even my fault?
Well… technically I’m still the one who waited til the day it was due. So all the lessons I learned hold true.
I’m just thankful that what I thought would work to get the intro and outro added did and that it was a fast and easy fix.
We’re set to record our next couple episodes on Sunday and you can bet your bootie I’ll be editing at least one, if not both, after recording. Baseball season is over so no double header which is helpful.
I want to share about habit stacking and cheating because it’s a hack I’ve been thinking about since last week. I started to write about it when I shared about the phone screen time but it morphed into being primarily about noise and distractions, not necessarily tracking. With writing daily, tracking steps and screen time, removing things from my diet and adding in some things I feel better than I have in a long time. And cheating hasn’t made me guilty because I’ve been making improvements in so many ways. I’ll get more into it tomorrow hopefully because my brains fried.
