Day 41: Society Feedback

I met with a couple of society members today to get feedback from them.

It was a good experience. These women have been with me for probably close to a decade with the various businesses I’ve started.

Before the first meeting the idea of a “Solopreneur Support Line” came to mind. It would be like an old timey 800 number where folks would call in and get their questions answered. On a rotary phone! Ha.

Both gals shared different feedback in our meetings. I have another one on Wednesday.

It’s only been since August 1 that we had our launch. The founding members joined in knowing that there would be an evolution. They would be helping us to build the society.

When I shared what Carin and I were discussing both thought it made sense.

One member shared a new group she joined and I couldn’t help feeling bummed about our small and slow growth compared to this other group. She mentioned it was similar to the Charmed Cardinals which is spot on.

While I loved that group, the direction we are headed feels way more in alignment with keeping both Carin and me in our zone of genius.

Lots to think about and process but grateful for the opportunity to have these conversations with people who genuinely care about what we are building.

If you don’t have a supportive group of people, find them. Start by being them.
